AVIAN is seeking a Senior M&S Architect to support the execution of an advanced research and development in support of a program office.

Responsibilities
- Support the execution of an advanced research and development program. The architect's primary responsibility is to establish the methodology, processes, and provide a technical review of the architected data relationships across various dynamic Government and industry Digital Engineering (DE) applications. Additionally, the architect is responsible for constructing accurate, cohesive, and synchronized digital threads across multiple levels of classification, necessary to evaluate system maturation and info1m technical and P.rogrammatic decisions throughout the lifecycle. The architect will be required to work in conceit with both the Government and Industry MBSE and other DE disciplines to guide overall model of models schemas that are in suppo1t of the overall DE vision, with as many architected automated relationships as feasible. Some of the various DE Applications include: analytical, parametric, physics-based, virtualized hardware, and/or constructive models and simulations. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and supporting relationships between the models, emulations, simulations, and/or digital representations that will be required to have feedback loops into the MBSE and DE authoritative sources of truth, at varying degrees of fidelity to establish effectiveness and capabilitybasedmaturation evaluations for successful weapon systems development. The architect will be required to work with Data Architects and IT/Cyber personnel to ensure the M&S architecture is in alignment with the necessary Cyber/TT methods and processes.
- Travel (20%) is required for this position.
Qualifications
- Education: Masters or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
- Experience: Candidate must have at least 15 years of relevant experience.
- Top Secret Department of Defense Clearance Required
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Candidates should be proficient in Sys ML, MagicDraw/Cameo, MATLAB, Microsoft Officeproducts, and Adobe products.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge in systems engineering and design for military aircraft.
- Candidates should also have experience with IBM Rhapsody, UML, C++, SQL/Access, and Java.
- Candidates should have demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Candidates should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complexsecurity environment.
