ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Responsible for picking, receiving, loading, unloading and stocking of material
- Maintains accurate inventory counts
- Operate forklift and scissor lifts
- Prepares and keeps records of all shipping documentation, including entry into ERP system
- Coordinates with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders to including pulling of material and packaging, per order requirement
- Packs and ships items securely and effectively to minimize damage
- Installs store-specific lock components into customer shipments, as requested
- Coordinates deliveries to customers through communication with shipping companies and the customer directly, as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)
- Mathematical skills to accurately record counts
- Communication skills, discuss priorities, and troubleshoot problems
- Ability to pass and maintain a forklift license to load and unload material
- Must be able to lift/push/pull objects that are 30 pounds or heavier
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Full body motion is required
