Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform daily incoming sampling inspection to meet the established company quality standards.
- Support daily activities such as WIP scanning and reporting, hold parts segregation, parts to send to
Store.
- Ensure part protection for all parts after inspection to Store and other processes such as Hydrotest, RT, PT, MT and other OSP activities.
- Highlight any defect found for defect confirmation to Engineer and execute disposition.
- To implement and maintain gage and equipment according to internal calibration system.
- Perform rework activities for simple defects after creating NC for example, stamping, light grinding,
engraving, remove minor rust.
- Update daily incoming inspection records.
- Ensure all processes are done in-line with Emerson’s Safety Culture.
- Always ensure good housekeeping practices in respective areas.
- Follow written instructions to ensure compliance with quality standard and customer special orders.
- Participate in cost saving, continuous improvement and SGIA projects.
- Support sorting and investigation when quality issue arises.
- Guide and supervise the junior inspector in control valve specification
- Perform other related duties or special tasks as assigned by superior.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum with Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent and/or
- Minimum three years working experience in manufacturing operations.
- Ability to interpret and perform inspection in accordance with design drawings, technical procedures/standards and instructions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experiences in manufacturing and/or quality assurance/quality control.
- Knowledge in control valve and specification
- Skills in using precision measuring, inspection and test equipment.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
