Inside Sales Representative
Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for communicating with Ag Express customers, actively listening, educating, and promoting our products and services to meet their needs, including precision products, monitoring/control systems, grain moisture testers, and wiring harness solutions.


This is a full-time, hourly position in Grand Island, NE. Occasional overtime may be required.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

  • Implement approved Ag Express sales strategy 
  • Recommend and quote the appropriate Ag Express products or services with guidance from a specialist or manager to help the customer achieve their goals
  • Attend sales meetings and product training sessions 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with purchasing and shipping departments to ensure prompt ordering and delivery of customer orders using Acumatica.
  • Communicate with farmers and implement dealers concerning order status

Customer Interaction

  • Build and maintain customer relationships by receiving and responding to inbound phone calls, emails, and other communications regarding Ag Express products and services
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and support

Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate and recommend improvements and ideas for the sales strategy
  • Represent Ag Express at public events, public forums, and industry trade shows in professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Agricultural precision electronic sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, CRM and computer-based phone systems preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remain in a seated position 50% of the time; alternate between sitting and standing.
  • Move about the office to access parts, including high-level shelving, ascending/descending ladders.
