Agriculture Engineer-in-Training

Engineering-in-Training Responsibilities

4Creeks is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Manager on our Agriculture team. Responsibilities for this position would include preparing calculations, assist with preparing technical reports, technical exhibits, and construction plans. Other responsibilities include drafting topographic surveys, spreadsheet calculations, technical specification writing, site visits and documentation of site conditions for typical civil engineering projects. This position will primarily entail office work.

Minimum Qualifications

1. The position requires a B.S. in Agriculture Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum of 0-1 years of experience.

3. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in preparation of plans, engineering design for various engineering projects, an Engineer-In-Training Certificate and exceptional written and oral communication skills. Bonus points for agriculture background (FFA, 4-H, etc.) and/or interest in regulatory compliance.

4. Experience using AutoCAD (version 2009 or higher, Civil 3D preferred) is preferred.

5. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is required.

Compensation

The hourly rate will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. Must have a valid CA Drivers License and a vehicle that can drive up to 100 miles. Business use of personal vehicles will be compensated for appropriately. Employees must follow all company policies related to vehicles, including safety, insurance, and other applicable policies.
