Assist diesel mechanics with diagnose and repair of engines, transmissions, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on diesel trucks. Using an established checklist, prove all repairs and workmanship done on machines, trucks or other equipment were properly completed. Power wash equipment, heavy highway trucks and trailers. Clean the shop as needed, perform safety checks of shop and office buildings and other janitorial duties as assigned. Operate various equipment including forklifts, trucks and heavy equipment. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work cooperatively with others and keep accurate records. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings and schematics. Class B CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred by not required.
