Graduate Structural Engineer
Make an Impact
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will support the Structural Engineering discipline and Architectural discipline in helping to design and develop structural systems, including performing structural analysis and designing task and modeling assignments for various project building types, sizes and materials as well as the delivery portions of project work ranging from conception design to final construction documentation.
Deliver Results
- Work on multiple project types and delivery methods. Prepare building models and detailed contract documents. Work closely with team members in the completion of projects on aggressive schedules.
- Develop project specifications in coordination with drawings. Provide design analysis consistent with Progressive AE standards. Provide control strategies for project budget overruns.
- Use design software/technology, including Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, RAM and other emerging technologies for presentation and production purposes.
- Produce contract documents that are efficient and consistent with the scope of work, schedule, and fee allotted to complete the work
- Coordinate technical components of projects with other internal disciplines and outside consultants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program or equivalent in education and experience required for professional licensure.
- 0+ years of post-graduate structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering In Training (passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam or ability to pass within 6 months).
- CSI-CDT certification.
- Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD.
- Experience using RISA or RAM Elements.
