As Senior Producer, you are responsible for the end-to-end management of high-quality, innovative, and engaging production outputs for the client’s briefs, from ideation to reconciliation. You are adept at working autonomously or as part of a team and have experience managing the workflow of others with an empowering, growth mindset. You will work closely with digital, content, live, and registration (Integrated Production), strategy, and creative teams to drive project efficiency and profitability.

You pride yourself on delivering exceptional work with flawless execution, and you work collaboratively to produce premium experiences while balancing flexibility, creativity, and attention to detail. Your adaptability to the unexpected is outstanding, and your ability to cultivate trusting relationships with clients ensures project and team success no matter the brief. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain momentum from kick-off to execution are critical to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support or lead the project team in managing processes from planning to creative to execution, as assigned
  • Deliver accurate and timely project administration, including reporting, timelines and tasking, purchase orders, vendor set-ups, reconciling and budget administration, venue research, Workbook management, and compliance with internal processes and procedures.
  • Support team proficiency through thought leadership and skill sharing, managing and mentoring team members under your direct supervision
  • Proactively manage client relationships through excellent written and verbal communication, presentations, meetings, and client entertainment.
  • Engaging creative and production experts to meet client objectives with best-in-class production solutions, supporting cross-departmental collaboration
  • Manage financial responsibilities including budgeting, estimating, purchase orders, approval of invoices, and tracking of all internal and external costs to achieve job profit targets
  • Cultivating a diverse portfolio of preferred relationships with vendors and 3rd party suppliers across all categories, negotiating for quality and cost efficiency
  • Actioning risk management through the identification, communication, and problem-solving to mitigate unwanted outcomes. Escalation as needed.
  • Lead the creative development of projects with the Integrated production team, creative and strategy teams, or required external 3rd party suppliers, ensuring delivery output is of high standards
  • Lead or contribute to regular WIP meetings with internal/external teams and clients to enable effective project planning.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Capabilities & Experience

  • Minimum nine (9) years of event experience in the B2B industry or corporate environment
  • Minimum four (4) years experience in a producer role
  • Expertise in creative, project and event management practices
  • Proficiency in client relations and management
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams, and an ability to foster positive relations
  • Excellent budget management, strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office and project management software
  • A keen creative eye with an ability to input into the creative process
  • A decisive mind and a process-driven approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
