As the Community Marketing Coordinator at Streamline Solar, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our local marketing strategy. You will play a key role in fostering community engagement, building partnerships, and implementing outreach strategies to promote our mission and values. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to drive community engagement, foster partnerships, and implement grassroots marketing initiatives tailored to the unique characteristics of these 3 markets.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identify and research local community organizations, nonprofits, and influencers aligned with Streamline Solar's mission.
  • Assess potential partnership opportunities and prioritize based on strategic alignment.
  • Develop a strategic outreach plan to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Initiate and nurture partnerships with community organizations to promote Streamline Solar's initiatives and values.
  • Collaborate on co-marketing strategies that benefit both Streamline Solar and the partnering organizations.
  • Effectively communicate Streamline Solar's mission, values, and benefits to community organizations.
  • Persuade organizations to support and promote Streamline Solar through various channels, events, and collaborations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and support.
  • Act as the main point of contact, addressing concerns and fostering a positive partnership experience.
  • Plan and execute creative social marketing campaigns that align with Streamline Solar's brand and resonate with the local community.
  • Leverage social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and community interaction.
  • Plan and coordinate outreach events, programs, and initiatives to promote Streamline Solar within the community.
  • Track and report on the success of outreach initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage budgets, and ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Coordination, execution, and hosting of in-person and virtual events and/or campaigns.
  • Manage event inventory such as swag items, signs, pamphlets, and collateral.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience And Education

  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in successfully reaching out to and collaborating with community members and organizations.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in coordination and execution of events (any size).
  • Excellent customer service and public speaking skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • This position requires weekend and evening marketing activities when needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
