Home Energy Consultant

Streamline Solar is hiring a Home Energy Consultant in Phoenix, Arizona. The Home Energy Consultant will focus on selling residential photovoltaic solar systems, energy storage and other activities directly related to the sale of home improvement options.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide a passionate and effective education to the public about Home Energy Systems.
  • Customize a complete home energy system design to best manage customers energy needs.
  • Run in-home and virtual consultations with homeowners.
  • Expected to prospect, develop, and follow up on self-generated and marketing-generated leads.
  • Participate in community events and networking events to generate leads.
  • Navigate the needs and wants of a customer’s energy goals to funnel to the best decision.
  • Maintain the Customer Relations Management system (CRM) daily and accurately, performing regular follow up.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide efficient and thorough transition from sale to installation.

  • Perform weekend and evening sales activities on a regular basis

Key 30, 60, 90 Day Accomplishments

  • First 30: Become proficient using the various software platforms to design, price & quote energy management systems
  • First 60: Start running solar appointments
  • First 90: Work on building a referral pipeline

Experience, Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, for example, Communications or Business
  • 2 – 5 years of outside sales experience in the photovoltaic solar industry
  • 2+ years of experience with direct consumer/in-home sales a requirement
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize and multi-task, along with an ability to provide routine reporting and follow-through.
  • This position requires weekend and evening sales activities on a regular basis
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Sharepoint/Office 365 a plus
