Job Summary
The Quality Technician tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Essential Functions
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical or electrical characteristics.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for analysis.

Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 1 year of related experience
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of related experience
- ASQ Certification
- APICS Certification
1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
Compensation
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $24.18 to $32.24. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
