Joint Military Manpower Analyst

Torch Technologies is seeking a Joint Military Manpower Analyst with expertise in military manpower and Joint manning processes. This position will support the Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) Director, Deputy Director, and Secretariat Division Chief. The JCO serves as a focal point for the Department of Defense to synchronize and integrate C-sUAS efforts for all C-sUAS stakeholders (Office Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency). The incumbent will lead the JCO effort to transition to Joint manning and fill Joint billets from all services. This individual will manage these key positions to ensure that the JCO maintains maximum Joint representation.

Duties will include:

  • Serves as Joint Billet Manager for the Joint Counter small-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO), supporting the 2-Star JCO Commander.
  • Coordinate with Military Service manpower organizations to coordinate assignment of individuals to JCO Joint billets.
  • Maintain awareness of rotation/transfer dates to ensure a face-to-face turnover in key Joint billets.
  • Provide briefings to JCO senior leaders regarding the status of JCO Joint manning.
  • Research and recommend alternatives to fill joint billets in situations where there are gaps or unavailable military personnel.
  • Screen Joint nominees and recommend candidates to JCO leadership for critical positions.
  • Maintain an understanding of individual service specialties and how these specialties can contribute to the JCO and C-sUAS mission.
  • Secret level security clearance is required, Top Secret is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of related work experience
  • Military Manpower Staff experience required
