Job Purpose Summary

As part of the Go-To-Market team, the Product Development Specialist is an advanced professional who is responsible for the successful commercialization of new products to support existing business and drive future growth. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing the end-to-end commercialization process for new products and supporting the overall lifecycle management for our core portfolio of sweeteners, starches, oils, cocoa, and coconut products. This position must be able to work collaboratively across all departments to ensure projects are completed according to a defined schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercialization projects from end-to-end of our Stage/Gate process .
• Develop and maintain overall implementation project plans, schedules, resource plans and coordinate with team members to remain on track.
• Lead product team meetings, develop and track against KPI’s, lead communication .
• Guide continuous improvement of our stage-gate process and technologies .
• Drive collaboration and resource alignment across R&D, QA, sales, service, marketing, sourcing, supply chain, sustainability, finance and legal to ensure project completion on time and budget.
• Support the lifecycle management of existing SKU’s and product categories through research, monitoring, and internal business reviews.
• Track and report against KPI’s for post-launch performance of new products.
• Keep the project pipeline updated and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.
• Follow industry developments to identify potential new product opportunities.
• Participate in a broad variety of other duties and projects, as assigned.
  
  
  

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, Marketing or other related fields required.
• Certification in project management a plus
