IT Technician

Responsibilities

4C Holdings is looking for a self-starter to join our IT team. 4CH needs an IT professional with customer service experience to assist with daily IT operations, serve as the main point of contact for our outsourced MSP, and help with projects to expand and improve our operations.

This role will report to the People Operations team and will work closely with our outsourced MSP as an onsite resource to assist with service, projects, and improvement.

Our co-managed IT environment supports 180+ staff with offices in Visalia, Clovis, San Luis Obispo, Tulare, Hanford, and Denver, CO.

Responsibilities for this position would include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a high level of customer service when assisting staff members
    • Assisting with service desk and business hours support
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
    • New hire first day experience
    • Occasional after-hours support/projects
  • Assist with vendor/license management (organizing, purchasing, etc.)
  • Assist with procurement and asset management
  • Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions, in our document management and ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Improvement identification and cross-team collaboration for implementation (ticketing process, software utilized, onboarding, etc.)
  • Conduct user training and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Work with IT MSP on
    • Escalating and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
    • IT projects (New software, server purchases, new office setups, security upgrades, improved user experience, etc.)
    • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks Security and account management
    • Creating and updating accurate, good documentation
  • Provide and participate in weekly updates to the People Operations team
  • Take on additional duties and responsibilities as needed within the organization to address various tasks beyond traditional IT support.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Networking, Computer Science or related degree
  2. Minimum 1 year (3 preferred) of experience in IT Administration, technical support or MSP service roles
  3. Bonus points for Connectwise Manage experience or hardware management

Compensation

The hourly rate will be determined by candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. Benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, and performance bonuses The expected pay range for this position is $25/hr - $33/hr.
