Position Summary:

The PCBA Quotation Analyst plays a pivotal role in assessing and determining the cost of PCBA assembly projects for our clients. Responsibilities include evaluating project specifications, communicating with vendors, analyzing costs, and preparing accurate and competitive quotes. Collaborating closely with sales teams, engineers, and procurement professionals, the PCBA Quotation Analyst ensures that our quotes align with client requirements and business objectives. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure competitive pricing and customer satisfaction. 


This is a full-time, exempt position located in Warren, Indiana.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Evaluation: Review project specifications, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to understand the scope and requirements of PCBA assembly projects.
  • Vendor Communication: Interact with PCBA manufacturers, component suppliers, and other vendors to gather quotes for materials and services required for the assembly process.
  • Cost Analysis: Utilize pricing tools, historical data, and supplier quotations to estimate costs for PCBA manufacturing, assembly, and related services accurately.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing and terms to secure competitive rates for materials and services.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive quotes based on the cost analysis, ensuring that pricing aligns with company profitability goals while remaining attractive to clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information and ensure alignment between quotations and customer requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of quotations, pricing data, supplier information, customer communications, and project specifications for future reference and analysis. Generate reports as required to track quoting activities and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all quotes meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PCBA assembly, procurement, or related areas, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost factors.
  • Familiarity with PCBA design software, pricing tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and pricing data accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
