Our Great Falls, MT office has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Engineering Administrative Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow. The Great Falls office has a fun group of hardworking engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and technicians who enjoy living in north central Montana and working for a wide variety of clients.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, takes initiative and is a resourceful and innovative problem solver, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • 5 years of experience with an engineering background or in an the engineering field or similar role.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with concurrent deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with project-specific tasks and to interact on a daily basis via email/telephone in a professional manner.
  • Initiative while working both autonomously and collaborative with other team members on project tasks. Ability to follow up until tasks are complete.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineers with support through invoicing, correspondence, document submittals, report preparation, electronic file organization, scheduling of meetings/appointments/travel.
  • Assist with coordination of the contract process with clients and subconsultants.
  • Assist with office supply inventory, ordering of supplies and equipment.
  • Answering phones as necessary.
  • Assist with Business Development activities.
  • General office duties: arrange travel, electronic filing, scanning, copying, mail (FedEx, UPS, USPS, processing, organizing, printing, PDF generation, and any other duties assigned.
