About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Program Analyst to apply data and organizational skills to provide ongoing operational, administrative, strategic, logistical, and reporting support to Cascade’s delivery program(s). This is a dynamic role with duties encompassing a range of tasks and autonomous projects in support of the program goals, reporting, and KPIs. The Program Analyst is highly organized, enjoys using data to develop stories or approaches that point to new insights, tools, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and reporting to advance operational performance, efficiency, and decision-making. The Program Analyst also enjoys exercising a high level of proficiency in key software programs, such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, and Excel with enthusiasm for developing additional system knowledge as required.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the program contract to fully understand tracking and reporting requirements, revenue sources, and customer expectations.
  • Prepare for, attend, and facilitate key meetings alongside the Program Manager.
  • Developing and maintaining systems and reporting for the collection, data visualization and analysis of key delivery KPI’s.
  • Collecting, aggregating, and exploring data, using it to draw conclusions and illustrate opportunities for operational improvements and consistency.
  • Completing projects and special assignments related to program operations by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation and input from others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Creating, auditing, and ongoing management of program reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. May include use of program-specific software programs (SharePoint, Power Platform, Ajera, Asana, Energy Sensei, and others) to support team tracking and reporting needs.
  • High level project and program support, including assembling sophisticated reports, analyzing large data sets, and extrapolating appropriate materials for the team.
  • Develop, improve, and manage program-specific tools, such as calculators and forms, and help both internal and external customers use and troubleshoot the use of program-specific tools.
  • Manage monthly invoicing process for team, which could include invoicing to utilities/programs for reimbursement, managing program bank accounts, budget reconciliation, and issuing checks to customers. Identify and resolve any problems associated with data integrity of invoicing or billing.
  • Perform administrative quality checks of reports, presentations, memos, collateral, and other program-specific documents. Ensure all program requirements plus formatting/branding guidelines are met.

 

 

This is a full-time, exempt position. This position can be remote, with preference for west coast location and  preferably near a Cascade Energy office.

 

Qualifications

Applicants for this role are required to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and technical background
  • At least 4 years of experience in a relevant role, with a track record of escalating responsibility over time
  • Demonstrated ability to build spreadsheets.
  • Experience with an online document management system (SharePoint or similar)

 

A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:

  • Experience in the energy industry.
  • Ability to understand and foster the customer relationship and successfully weave clients’ needs (and contractual requirements) into KPIs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an affinity for adapting conversational content into data for analysis.
  • Ability to make independent judgements or ask for assistance in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to address situations based on all available facts and information.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, achieving satisfaction from meeting tight deadlines and displaying strength in multitasking.
  • Highly proficient with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, and reporting tools, with expert-level Excel skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. These include health (90% paid for team member, 70% paid for dependents on HDHP plans and 85% paid for team member, 65% paid for dependents on PPO plans),  vision, FSA or HSA options with an employer contribution, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid parental leave, 401k retirement plan with a guaranteed 3% contribution, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), annual cash performance bonus, paid vacation, sick time, and an inclusive, flexible paid holiday policy. New for 2024 – we are excited to add an additional wellbeing contribution of $500 for HSA, FSA, or LSA (Lifestyle Spending Account).

 

The salary range for this position in Portland OR is $69,600 - $102,900. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, and geographical location if different than the above.
