We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Applications Technician Intern. This position will located in Rolla, MO.
Summary: Characterize and optimize materials and processes to ensure robust understanding and optimal performance of materials, perform cleanroom/laboratory testing and assist in the characterization and troubleshooting of products and customer processes. Work with Applications Engineers/Technicians to generate accurate data/analysis. Responsible for effective communication with supervisor and other team members.
Responsibilities
Characterize developmental and commercial materials and processes.
Optimize processes for developmental and commercial materials.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area utilizing safety standards.
Accurate and concise data collection with appropriate documentation.
Serve as active team member as needed for project teams.
Observe materials and process behavior. Identify and report non-conformance issues with materials/processes.
Comply with cleanroom protocols and clean-up procedures.
Perform general housekeeping in compliance with work areas.
Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members, also may be assigned to cross-functional teams.
Participate in the Brewer Science Intern program.
Qualifications and Credentials:
Must be a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
