Transmission Manufacturing Associate – Jasper IN

We are hiring for multiple positions, including:

Disassembly - The individual will be disassembling the entire unit, which includes removal of bolts, rings, seals, snap rings, gears, valve body, etc.  After removing the parts, they will be loading the various parts in a basket prepping them to be washed.  This position may require lifting up to 40lbs. 

Subassembly - This position requires focus and attention to detail.  Individuals must be able to read and understand the bill of materials.  After verifying correct parts, they will pre-assemble and lubricate bushings and seals.  The individual needs to be able to follow instructions and lift to 40 lbs.

Machinist - Entry-level machining positions that require little prior machining knowledge. Operations consist of placing parts in machines and performing an operation or a group of operations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, typical hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the possibility of overtime.
• Occasional Saturdays, typically 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Willing to learn – we provide on-the-job training.
• Must be reliable – Mutual Trust, Mutual Respect
• Some positions require the ability to multi-task, while others are repetitive.
• Must be process oriented and willing to follow an established procedure.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Guaranteed 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, punches, battery powered and pneumatic drills/impacts.
• Standing:  Frequently
• Walking: Occasionally
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally
