Log Truck Driver| Newbury, Ohio

Position Overview

Summary: The Log Truck Operator is responsible for operating knuckleboom loadersto transport timber. Candidates must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record.

Minimum Class B CDL required.

Job Duties

Attention to detail and care for people's property is a must.
We also do government and municipality work including on highways and interstates.
Pre-trip/ post-trip, loading and unloading wood/logs, and driving the log truck from multiple landings to wood yard and log yard
Communicate effectively with Crew Leads, and Crew Members
Securely fasten chain or cable binders around logs to load on the trailer during transit.
Can operate a truck in accordance with DOT, state, and city regulations, as well as all Company guidelines
Able follow safety rules and regulations at all times

Qualifications

Class B CDL required, with medical card
Ability to operate logging equipment is a plus
Preferred experience with heavy hauls, dump trucks or long trucks
