About the Job:

The Equipment Operator at Dean Snyder Construction is responsible for operating a variety of heavy construction equipment, including cranes, to ensure project completion with high safety and quality standards. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

What we are Looking For:

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge of:

Proficiency in operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing project requirements.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must be able to pass Company MVR policy.
National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification required.
Certification in equipment operation (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements:

Operate heavy equipment 8 to 10 hours shifts
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Manual dexterity and coordination to handle equipment controls.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain
