Regional Pharmacist Staffing Coordinator
Remote Position
Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Regional Pharmacist Staffing Coordinator to Serve as a collaborative partner for the Human Resources/Pharmacy Operations teams to guarantee that pharmacies have the right staffing levels. Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Managers, Staff Pharmacists, and field leadership to ensure that all stores have well-qualified pharmacists scheduled accordingly.
A few of the primary responsibilities include:
- Assists Pharmacists in locating needed coverage in their stores.
- Schedules relief pharmacist help during periods of pharmacist turnover in stores and/or for scheduling emergencies.
- Determines appropriateness for additional training for Relief Pharmacists based upon skill, potential, availability and feedback from the stores.
- Assists in screening, interviewing and hiring of pharmacists.
- Works closely with field leadership and Director of Human Resources to review new grad pharmacists for strategic store placements.
- Works with outside staffing agencies to appropriately staff our stores, when we need additional staffing resources.
- Surveys the pharmacies on quality of relief pharmacists, and tracks results.
- Provides administrative support to the pharmacy operations team and HR teams including but not limited to:
- Pharmacist expense management/approval
- Obtaining/managing alarm codes for pharmacists
- Reviewing/approving Pharmacist exception time
- Reviewing/approving Pharmacist vacation requests
- Completes projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources.
- Position will require evening and weekend work in order to fill emergency relief needs as required.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred;
- At least 1 year of Thrifty White Pharmacy experience is preferred;
- Strong working knowledge of pharmacy industry standards and methods.
- Ability to work evening and weekend work in order to fill emergency relief needs.
- Strong project management experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask.
