  • Anticipated Starting Salary: $121,500/year to $148,500 DOE (Compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, etc.) This position will remain posted until filled.

Client Program Leader - Denver, CO

AE2S is seeking a Client Program Leader to join us in Colorado. This individual will work closely with the Colorado Operations Manager and be a key leader in business development, project delivery, and passionate client service while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of AE2S.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage implementation of growth strategies to grow AE2S’ market and technical presence within Colorado.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage the pursuit of high priority clients throughout Colorado.
  • Develop client-focused strategies and action plans that respond to client challenges and issues and create a competitive advantage for AE2S.
  • Participate in and/or manage project pursuit and proposal efforts ensuring coordination and collaboration with the Operations Manager, technical Practice Leaders, and marketing staff to confirm proposals address client needs.
  • Remain up to date in technical/engineering area of practice and project management by spending approximately 30-50% of your time completing billable work.

Basic Requirements

  • Strong commitment to client service.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and execute business development plans.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience pursuing, positioning, preparing proposals and winning projects through competitive RFP/Q process’.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and execute efficiently.
  • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Knowledge of municipal water market.
  • Proven experience in makreting and sales roles with track record of achieving sales targets.

Physical Qualifications

  • Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
  • May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
  • May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
