The Director Divisional Sales role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of Regional sales professionals toward meeting company objectives in the areas of new sales revenue, growth of base business and market penetration.
Location:
This position will be based in the EMEA region. The role requires a candidate who can effectively operate across the various cultures and business environments within EMEA.
What You'll Be Doing:
Meet or exceed annual sales goals and expense control objectives
Determine the long- and short-term goals and direction for the sales team based on overall organizational strategy
Drive and communicate the strategy across the organization to enhance sales performance
Know the key distributors and key accounts within the assigned Division, understand their needs, build and use relationships in those key partners and customer accounts to grow sales and revenue
Identify competitive threats and develop effective countermeasures
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to optimize utilization of resources
Develop and deliver an effective sales business plans, including accurate revenue forecasts
Ensure the skills of our sales professionals are in line with the demands of the marketplace and company sales objectives, including product knowledge, key process knowledge, knowledge of the competition, sales techniques, relationship building, making effective sales presentations, and negotiation skills
Translate company and departmental sales objectives into sales programs and initiatives
Attract, recruit, and retain top talent. Motivate and lead a high-performance sales team
Provide leadership and management to ensure adoption and practice of the Henny Penny core values.
Define measurable expectations for each role within the sales team.
Evaluate performance against expectations of all staff.
Utilize and reinforce all required sales processes, tools, and systems Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least 10 years of demonstrated successful sales experience preferably in the food service equipment industry
5 years of proven sales leadership and management experience
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and across the organization to achieve group and organizational goals
Understanding and expertise in computer hardware and software (Microsoft Suite)
Strong time management, organizational and forecasting skills
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
Solid negotiation skills and the ability to network effectively both internally and externally
Strong business and financial acumen
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
