SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Janitor position provides the cleaning and upkeep of the plant facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities; bathrooms, lunchroom, office area, etc.
Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, etc.
Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
Adhere to all company policies
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year of similar work experience
