Salary Range: $57,218 - $97,428 Arrange movement of SEEK EAGLE equipment to different locations at Edwards AFB and to and from TDY locations. Essential Job Functions: Work with Edwards AFB teams to ensure stores and related equipment required for testing are in place prior to SEEK EAGLE flight test, fit check, and mass property measurements. Assist (physical and technical) with mass property measurements. Assist (physical and technical) with fit checks. Plan and conduct mass, physical and geometric properties measurements of aircraft stores (munitions, pods, pylons, racks, etc.) and miscellaneous equipment at Edwards AFB and other locations. Maintain measurement equipment facilities. Use, assemble, repair, modify, store, pack, and ship measurement equipment when needed. Organize, store, record, produce, and transmit collected measurement data in digital and paper form. Maintain proficiency in munitions loading procedures and weapons handling. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. A High School Diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant experience. Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret. Must have weapons or ammo handling experience or experience loading those items on aircraft. Ability to work well with others in a diverse team of engineers, PMs, and other technical specialties. Ability to communicate remotely using technology such as Microsoft Teams or other on-line collaborative tools. Be familiar with 412 TW/AFTC units and test planning/execution processes. Understanding or ability to learn USAF PMEL system. Understanding or ability to learn USAF equipment account system. Ability to read and understand T.O.s and technical drawings. Understanding or ability to learn of USAF transportation system. Ability to drive/learn to drive forklifts and assigned weapons loading equipment. Knowledge of DoD stores (weapons, pods, fuel tanks, etc…). Knowledge of DoD stores handling procedures. Knowledge of DoD stores procedures for loading on aircraft. Knowledge in use of metrology tools (calipers, rulers, tape measures, protractors, etc.). Ability to climb ladders. Ability to bend and lift moderate weight. Ability to stand for more than 45 minutes at a time. Desired Skills: 10 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma; OR 7 years of relevant experience with an applicable Associates Degree.
