SUMMARY: Oversee the mold processing operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mold processing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Process molds to meet precise print requirements, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
- Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot issues and find effective resolutions.
- Communicate production needs clearly to a team of operators, fostering a productive work environment.
- Manage shift transitions by providing detailed production updates and reports to ensure seamless workflow.
- Operate the mold press according to established work instructions and routing steps, maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute production activities in alignment with due dates and overall production goals.
- Identify and communicate challenges in the production process, proposing potential solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Requires knowledge typically acquired through:
- Completion of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED),
- Three to five years related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in mold processing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mold press operations and production workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with production scheduling and planning processes is a plus.
