Summary of Description:
A Specialist is a person that has achieved the level of knowledge and experience within their field to accomplish advanced work with minimal experience, i.e., Advanced Surveyor, Laser Scanning Personnel, Planners, Schedulers, Project Controls, Communication Personnel, Programmers, Automation & Controls, DCS & PLC Personnel, etc.
Duties:
- Communicate with clients to understand scope of request.
- Work with clients to perform duties as required to provide the deliverables for their field of expertise.
- Continue education of field of knowledge to stay up to date with current technologies.
- Communicate with clients to keep client up to date with progress and to issues or problems that may occur with ongoing work.
- Provide solutions to clients for issues and problems.
- Complete work with client schedules and budgets.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: College Degree preferred with at least ten (10) years in field of expertise, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
License Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk up to one mile on industrial plant and construction sites outdoors at any time of the year.
- Ability to work in protective clothing which may elevate body temperatures by several degrees Fahrenheit for periods of up to 15 minutes without a break.
- Ability to use multi-level stair towers and rung ladders unassisted.
- Ability to hear safety alarms and signals while wearing hearing protection.
- Ability to sit at desk and operate computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear.
- Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.

Description:
External alarm rationalization facilitator to complete necessary alarm rationalizations units.
Job Requirements:
Must have previous experience leading an alarm rationalization team and developing and documenting the necessary information to conform to ISA 18.2 requirements for alarm rationalization. Ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience with leading and documenting alarm rationalization efforts. This would correlate to someone with 5 to 10 years of experience as a process, process control, site alarm champion or a specific alarm management role.
Job Responsibilities:
Collecting necessary P&ID's, developing and documenting the required information, coordinating meetings with impacted parties and working with automation team to deliver in format that can be imported into the current system.
