Description

Thermcraft is hiring a Sales Representative who will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current clients while seeking opportunities to expand our customer base. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, with responsibilities spanning client relationship management, solution selling, and customer support. This role offers a unique opportunity to cultivate strong relationships with manufacturing clients while driving innovation and expansion in the industrial sector. The position entails up to 25% travel to client sites or industry events as needed.


Location: Hybrid: 1x a quarter at Thermcraft, Winston-Salem, NC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and industries.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and propose solutions that align with their thermal processing requirements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and customer service teams to effectively deliver solutions and resolve client issues.
  • Account Strategy and Planning: Develop strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and meet company sales objectives.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasted sales in the CRM system.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay well-versed in Thermcraft’s innovative product range to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of account management or sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and apply consultative selling techniques.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Motivated self-starter with a results-oriented approach.
