Senior Accountant

We have recently joined forces with OrthoPediatrics as their Specialty Bracing division to help more KIDS!

QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
B. 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting.
C. General Monthly Closing procedural experience to produce Balance Sheet and P & L.
D. Experience with Accrual accounting per GAAP.
E. Knowledge of MS Office suite, advanced excel skills required, basic e-mail, copy, computer, fax skills.
F. Must be able to multi-task and organize daily job duties.
G. Must get along well with others.
H. Must be detail-oriented.
I. Experience in sales / customer service field a plus.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Process Accounts Payables, apply cash to Accounts Receivable.
B. General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Management and Banking portal knowledge.
C. Perform payroll transmission with Outside Payroll Service and make necessary entries to G/L
D. Monthly Reconciliations to Bank, Asset and Liability accounts per GAAP.
E. Create preliminary Financials for End of Month review and reporting process.
F. Perform other duties as may be assigned by Director of Finance.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
A. Indoors, climate controlled environment.
B. Elevated noise levels, handling of box cutting tools.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
A. Occasional lifting of boxes / packages up to 50 lbs.
