Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our IT team. The Programmer Analyst will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications and databases. Maintains and revises existing systems and provides technical assistance to users and creates SQL server databases and queries. Support operations with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in development of Windows and Web based applications. Solid background in SQL Server, SQL queries and SSRS. ERP experience with Epicor is preferred. Strong attention to detail, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
