Controller

Our client, a culturally strong organization in the Greater Hartford Region, is seeking a Controller to join their team.

About the Controller role:

Oversight and review of all financial statements: month-end, quarter-end and year-end
Monitoring manufacturing costs and implementing cost control measures
Responsible for coordinating the budgeting & forecasting process, making changes as necessary
Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures
Oversight of the finance and accounting department: 2 reports in total
Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications of the Controller

BS Accounting/Finance. CPA/CMA is a plus
Manufacturing experience is required
Strong cost accounting background is highly preferred
