EnSafe is accepting applications for a Senior Safety Consultant to work full-time at a client site in Casa Grande, AZ. This role would be excellent for a seasoned leader with 10+ years of experience, including experience with construction safety.

What We Are Looking For:
A Senior Safety Consultant experienced in leading and fostering a safety-conscious culture in the workplace to minimize accidents and injuries. This Sr. Safety Consultant will help oversee various types of construction projects, assist with the prevention of injuries and other safety-related incidents, and help implement company-established safety/health rules. The Safety Consultant is expected to work closely with site leadership and help manage day-to-day construction-related activities, including pre-construction planning, design review, construction/equipment installation, and project closeout.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working closely with site leadership to assist in managing overall safety programs for a fully integrated nutritional plant with 300-400 employees.
- Implementing plant safety programs/procedures during construction projects
- Conducting construction site safety audits
- Working closely with line supervision to foster safe work practices
- Develop task-specific job safety analyses for work performed at the facility
- Developing and teaching required safety training sessions
What You’ll Need:
- B.S. degree in Safety related field, or 10+ years of related experience preferred.
- Some experience with construction safety.
- Working knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction standards (OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926).
- Professional designations (CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
- Team building skills.
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- A history of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Key technical abilities in; machine guarding, trenching and excavating, lockout/tagout, line breaking, confined space entry, overhead cranes, electrical safety and chemical safety.
