Job Position Description

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer' by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties that may be Assigned:

Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash (remove/replace), and cleaning entrance/interior glass etc...
Clean restrooms: toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, walls and replenish dispensers with paper products and soap.
Use proper PPE where required.
Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
Respond professionally and promptly to customer work orders.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers; as well as company equipment.
Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.

Split Shift (First/Second)

20+ Hours
Nights and weekends.
With opportunities for possible day shifts and additional hours.

Physical Demands And Qualifications

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward.
Must be able to lift and and/or carry up to 35lbs.
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products, uses and comprehend cleaning instructions.
Willing and able to work in damp, dusty, soiled areas, and clean up human waste/other bodily fluids as necessary.
The ability to be flexible, work independently and as a team member.
1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required.
Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Must be willing and available to work nights and weekends.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
