Description

We are looking for a maintenance supervisor to oversee the repair and upkeep of our presses, machines, and equipment. As a maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, managing the maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and reporting on the performance and condition of presses, machines, tools, and equipment. You will also liaise with external contractors and vendors as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and optimal use of resources.
Supervising and training maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
Evaluating the condition and performance of the presses, machines, equipment, and systems, identifying issues and recommending solutions.
Managing the maintenance budget, inventory, and records, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accuracy.
Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders, providing technical support and advice on maintenance matters.

Requirements

Knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and methods, as well as relevant code regulations and standards.
Knowledge of the types, functions and features of various mechanical/electrical equipment and systems
Knowledge of project management, budgeting, and inventory control techniques.
Skill in supervising, training, and evaluating maintenance staff, as well as delegating tasks and resolving conflicts.
Skill in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing problems with equipment and systems, as well as using tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Skill in communicating effectively with various stakeholders, such as management, staff, contractors, vendors, and customers.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple maintenance projects and tasks, as well as adapt to changing needs and situations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, as well as under pressure and in emergency situations.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions, as well as read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
