Howell Laboratories and its divisions: ODAT Machine, GDL Powder Coating, Howell CleanTech is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) engineering and manufacturing company based in Bridgton and Gorham, ME.
The company was founded in 1964 when they started making equipment for the US Navy and US Coast Guard. Howell Laboratories became employee-owned in 1995 when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The company strongly believes that employee ownership increases the potential of their employees by enhancing the self-worth, dignity, and well-being of their team.
