Our Shop:

Climate-Controlled Shop.
Smaller Shop with greater responsibility and impact.
We are Clean Shop.
Never the same twice. Our job mix is always evolving, so you’ll constantly be setting up and proving out new parts.
Overtime Available. Our shift schedule is 3:30m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday, Friday is available for overtime.

Sign On Bonus: $4000.

Job Location: Gorham, Maine

Shift Differential: 10%

Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities:

Perform intricate, first-article machine configurations and modify CNC code directly on the floor for ODAT jobs.
Interpret advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) maps to secure exact part conformance.
Provide technical setup support and mentoring to junior operators inside the ODAT division.
Partner with ODAT division engineers to improve machining paths and reduce material scrap rates.

Qualifications:

Journeyman status or equivalent technical engineering degree.
Preferred but not required: 7+ years of advanced CNC precision machining experience.
Expert mastery of GD&T rules and advanced multi-axis machining applications.

Key Competencies:

Autonomy, advanced troubleshooting, peer mentorship, and precision compliance.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for up to 10 hours; lifting work-holding setups and heavy metal stock up to 50 lbs.
