PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is a direct labor position performing work on customer/company owned units. The work will require tear down, repair and rebuild, and clean up. It will also involve creative thinking to overcome the challenges brought about by having equipment returned with major defects that need to become functioning units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the person will:
- Assist with the Certified Rebuild program at Cemen Tech to ensure all equipment serviced meets the specifications developed by the Sales and Service divisions.
- Diagnose, repair, or replace defective or outdated hydraulic, mechanical, control, and electrical systems.
- Replace or repair various dirty and defective parts of the unit.
- Ensure welds are intact and repair any seams that look weak or corroded.
- Grease bearings and change the oil.
- Replace or repair damaged bins that may have cracks, holes or missing parts.
- Safely execute job duties in a team environment.
- Work within rapidly growing business division.

EQUIPMENT
This position requires the following equipment/tool abilities:
Shop tools including hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools.
Use of grinder, welding and plasma cutting tools.
Use of a power operated vacuum and power washer.
Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.
EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Requires a proven mechanical background with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Agricultural mechanical background is helpful as well.
- 1 – 2 years welding experience.
