Key Responsibilities of the Estimating Coordinator:

Organize and maintain electronic project files, ensuring all plans and specifications are downloaded, saved, and printed as needed.
Update and manage the subcontractor database and bidding schedule.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in bids and bid invitations.
Review incoming bids to confirm appropriate coverage for each bidding scope.
Monitor bidding activity throughout the bid cycle and provide support as needed.
Filter subcontractor inquiries and assist estimators in preparing and distributing RFIs.
Reach out to subcontractors and suppliers to secure additional bids and collect information for future projects.
Keep subcontractors updated on bid statuses, including updated plans, schedules, and RFI responses.
Coordinate preconstruction and estimating meetings, maintaining team schedules.

What the Company Seeks in an Estimating Coordinator:

Familiarity with construction divisions and CSI codes.
A high school diploma and at least two years of administrative experience, preferably in construction.
Basic to intermediate construction plan reading is a plus.
Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF editors, and MS Teams.
Experience with SmartBid or similar estimating database software preferred.
