Responsibilities
A Day in the Life of a National Operations Manager
As a National Operations Manager for Liberty Military Housing, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of the National Senior Director of Operations and Liberty Military Housing. You will provide support to all Regions as well as coordination and integration with the National Support Team. Your position requires travel, full knowledge of property operations and being accountable for the business results that include an emphasis on employee performance and our mission to providing exemplary service in accordance with LMH’s quality customer satisfaction standards.
Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organization and maintenance of information that may be sensitive, confidential, or technical in nature.
- Exercise good judgment to effectively manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
- Attend and participate in designated calls and meetings, with the ability to travel (both locally and nationwide).
- Produce general correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Oversee the revision of internal national documents.
- Manage and lead the revision and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).
- Facilitate meetings and project-based group activities as needed.
- Conduct regular reviews of all operational processes for efficiency opportunities.
- Assist with department initiative proposal reviews, timeline organization and attend project-based group meetings.
- Assist and support both national and regional operations and special projects as assigned.
- Responsible for hiring, managing, training, and developing the National Operations Administrator
- Ensure all administrative processes involving the National Operations Administrator are handled effectively and in a timely manner (i.e. performance evaluation, performance action plans, time reporting, etc.)
- Ensure the National Operations Administrator complies with company policies and procedures and completes the required training (i.e. online, instructor-led, etc.)
- Operate a company/personal vehicle to travel to various locations for work purposes.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Need for Success:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience, including administrative and management experience or comparable.
- Real Estate or Property Management experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders, business partners, executives, and leadership staff.
- Positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Proficient in computer and software applications including Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) calendar management software, Zoom, Teams, Yardi (a plus) etc.
- Proven ability to review data and create and maintain charts in Excel.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a high sense of urgency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality, dedication, and punctuality.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate duties to achieve operational objectives.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Desire to help and find answers to problems.
- Ability to travel (local and nationwide) 10-20% of the time.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Experience working across multiple time zones.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- The position requires mobility within the office. Constantly operates a computer, phone, and other office machinery such as a scanner and copy machine.
- Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities.
- Must be able to deal with a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks daily.
- Ability to operate a company/personal vehicle or electric cart.
- Team members must fulfil the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules, and procedures of the company, including those set out in the Team Member Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or writing) to team members.

Pay Range $91,000 - $124,000 annually plus bonus
