About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Highway Project Engineer to join our widely respected and growing Transportation Division

Key Responsibilities
- Working with a team of multidisciplinary engineers.
- Leading the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure projects.
- Manage and mentor staff while serving as a task lead
- Assemble a complete design package or assigned portions of a?larger project
- Perform quality control reviews
- Attend and lead meetings with public and/or private clients
- Represent MJ at industry and professional society events
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE Required.
- 5-10 years of progressive roadway engineering analysis and design experience.
- Project experience with State DOT's required and municipal experience a plus.
- Multi-modal and Complete Streets design experience a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
- Business Development experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Public presentation experience preferred.
- Experience with proposal writing, scope of work development, and budgeting
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules.
