PAYROLL SPECIALIST

$55,000- $65,000

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist who will play a key role in payroll processing while also handling contract negotiations and assisting with credit-related tasks. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of payroll operations, financial analysis, and contract management.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:

Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Handle payroll tax filings, benefits deductions, and direct deposits.
Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
Assist with credit-related tasks, including evaluating financial records and coordinating with financial institutions.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Collaborate with HR, finance, and external partners to optimize payroll and contract processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECCIALIST:

2+ years of payroll experience (ADP, Paychex, or similar software preferred).
Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management is a plus.
Basic understanding of credit evaluations or financial analysis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
