VICE PRESIDENT OF PEOPLE SUCCESS

SUMMARY

We prioritize our employees' development and well-being, and we are looking for a Vice President of Human Resources. The Vice President of People Success is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing human resource functions that align with PFSbrands’ business objectives and core values. This role fosters a positive organizational culture, enhances employee engagement, ensures compliance, and drives workforce planning initiatives to support the company’s long-term success. The VP of People Success will have extensive experience in HR leadership, operations, coaching, payroll, and benefits and have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive engagement and performance across the organization, while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with SVP of People Success to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and enhance organizational performance.
- Collaborate with leaders to drive workforce planning and coaching initiatives.
- Promote and sustain a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement programs.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a fair and respectful work environment.
- Provide guidance to managers on coaching opportunities and performance-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations to mitigate company risk.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and personnel management, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with insurance brokers to manage benefit programs and oversee renewals, compliance, and education initiatives.
- Administer ESOP plan compliance, audits, and annual processes.
- Optimize HRIS systems to ensure accurate data and company-wide efficiencies.
- Create and maintain people-related analytics and reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen the organization’s leadership and professional development programs.
- Oversee multi-company payroll and benefits compliance.
- Serve as a cultural leader within the company, reinforcing vision, mission, and core values.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; will review experience in relation to education.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and legal regulations including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, FSLA, EEO, and related employment laws
- Experience with ESOP administration and compliance preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically performed in normal office conditions. Some overnight travel may be required for this position.
