PURPOSE OF POSITION
Build and weld frames following company and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the employee owner will:
- Read and follow prints and drawings.
- Assure parts and components are accurate according to company and/or customer specifications using measuring devices including but not limited to tape measure and an angle finder.
- Collect control data (QC sheets)
- Position components enabling robot to weld parts.
- Repair parts when necessary and make appropriate adjustments to robot.
- Keep accurate counts of all parts produced or scrapped.
- Load frames onto paint line.
- Perform housekeeping in area including but not limited to sweeping, mopping and cleaning tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on various tools including but not limited to welder, and a jig.
- Request and/or gather raw materials, parts, and components necessary to complete task.
- Communicate positively and effectively with supervisors, fellow workers, and other internal customers.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES
- Welding certification- Recommended, but not required
- Continually participate in additional training related to the job

- The noise level in the work environment is USUALLY LOUD.
- Steel-toe safety shoes, dark safety glasses, hearing protection, protective gloves are required.
- Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts,
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, exposed to extreme heat, outdoor weather conditions, works with flammable materials, radiation and vibration.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
