The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling machine parts according to specifications.
The ideal candidate is someone who shows up every day ready to learn and take on hands-on, detailed assembly work. You’re mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic tools, and enjoy working with your hands. You don’t need years of experience just a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions and use measuring tools accurately. You take pride in doing quality work, stay productive throughout the day, and communicate well with your team. Shift/Hours: 1st Shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Compensation:
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $19.67 to $26.22 per hour. The exact rate may depend on your skills, experience, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Essential Functions
- Reads and follows blueprints, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts, partially or completely, in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools.
- May remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce fit between parts.
- May operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines or other mechanical devices to assist in assembly operation.
- May inspect and test assembly.

Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to make metric system conversions
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
