Job Responsibilities

Lead small client teams (1–2 staff), small projects, or portions of large projects using expertise in lighting and power design.
Apply knowledge of NEC and other national standards to solve medium to difficult design challenges.
Work independently on multiple project types with minimal supervision.
Understand energy codes and apply them to power and lighting design.
Perform photometric calculations, lighting design, and fault current analysis.
Select lighting systems and controls for simple projects.

Job Duties

Proficient in REVIT.
Train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions related to electrical design.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop construction documents based on client requirements.
Perform quality control on projects for final review by Engineer of Record.
Engage in client communication when applicable.
Assist in establishing project budgets and ensure financial success.
Edit specifications for small to medium projects.

Management Requirements: 0-3 staff

Education Requirements: BSEE from an Abet Accredited Engineering Program

Licensure Requirements: Licensed Professional Engineer
