Overview

As a Civil Engineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in either our Indianapolis Office, you’ll perform civil engineering tasks supporting project teams to create land development plan specifications, and calculation briefs for our commercial and institutional clients. You'll have the opportunity to work across various disciplines including Geotechnical, Civil/Site, Environmental, and Surveying. Housing assistance not provided, therefore local candidates preferred.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:

Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations;
Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities;
Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges; and
Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program;
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software; and
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
