Position: Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: South Bend, Indiana – Onsite
Salary: $43,680–$47,840 annually

Overview of the AR/AP Specialist role:

Process full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including applying payments, posting checks and credit card transactions, reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
Manage Accounts Payable by entering invoices, coding expenses, preparing check runs, and maintaining vendor files.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and aging reports to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organized documentation, both digital and paper-based, for all AP/AR transactions.
Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve discrepancies and provide account support.
Assist with month-end tasks, reporting, and general administrative accounting duties.

Preferred Qualifications for the AR/AP Specialist role:

QuickBooks Desktop experience required (daily transaction processing).
2+ years of AR/AP or general bookkeeping experience.
Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and follow established processes.
Clear communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Experience with reconciliations and troubleshooting discrepancies.

Salary:

$43,680–$47,840 annually
