Summary
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to support Keenan Farms’ pistachio processing operations. This is a hands-on role supporting mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a fast-paced, food-manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, sensors, and control panels
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line improvements
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately
- Follow all safety, food safety, and compliance standards (LOTO, GMPs)
- Support facility maintenance as needed (utilities, compressors, general repairs)
Minimum Requirements
- Maintenance experience in manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical experience a plus
- Familiarity with motors, drives, conveyors, and industrial equipment
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), VFDs, or HMIs
- Food manufacturing or agricultural processing background
