Power Drive Transmission – POD 742 Inspection

Job Overview: Inspect/Parts Drying- The individual will enter the tag number of the transmission in the computer. They will inspect all parts for damage following established criteria and order parts needed. They will dry parts when the washer is done. If any of the parts are dirty, they will soda blast the part to remove dirt. Additionally, various tools will be used to straighten out oil pans. This position may require using a sanding block, lathe to polish parts, soda blaster, grind bearings or burrs using a die grinder.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
Overtime available

Qualifications

The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as grinders, measuring tools, welding torches.
Standing: Continuously
Walking: Frequent
Sitting: N/A
Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
Reaching/Working Overhead: N/A

Salary and Benefits:

Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
